Which GPSG goal are you most excited to help accomplish this year—and why?

Increase and maintain 95% usage of the Niner Engage platform among the 37 graduate student organizations.

What’s one thing in your bag/backpack right now that you probably shouldn’t admit to carrying around?

I always carry a book to read in my backpack! Usually it’s the book I’m reading that month for book club.

What is one important thing that you believe every graduate student at UNC Charlotte should know?

There are so many different ways to be involved on campus. Yes, we are graduate students, but we can benefit greatly from engaging with students at all levels through student organizations and campus events.

What's your go-to response when grad school gets overwhelming?

Playing video games!

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you before starting grad school at  UNC Charlotte?

Take time for yourself; build up hobbies and relationships that will continue beyond your time in college.

In one sentence, what does “leadership” mean to you as a grad student?

To me, leadership means having a true desire to help others and your community improve while being open-minded to a variety of perspectives.
