During our previous Senate meeting, it was asked if we can publisize ways to help those affected by Hurricane Florence. A great way to start (besides providing goods through the UNCC drive) is to join UNCW's Office of Community Engagement Facebook page. They are providing a great resource by connecting those in need with those who can help. If you would like provide help to a student-run initiative, please consider We Wilm Rebuild. They are a UNCW student-led rehabilitation project for the area. And finally, if your GSO would rather provide monetary donations to those affected in our UNCW family, UNCW has set up emergency relief funds for students and employees.
